26 August, 2019. With the new 6.0 version of its pylon Camera Software Suite Basler provides support for the new CoaXPress 2.0 standard for the first time.
It takes just a few clicks to install all necessary drivers and libraries and get your Basler CXP-12 interface card and Basler boost camera set up and running.
Thanks to the easy-to-use and generic pylon SDK you can easily adapt your existing pylon application to support the new Basler CoaXPress cameras, too.
With the integrated GenTL support in pylon, Basler CoaXPress cameras can also be used in any GenICam GenTL compatible 3rd party libraries.
New: Docking control
The popular pylon Viewer is a powerful and easy-to-use tool that helps you save time while evaluating cameras and designing your system.
With the new Visual Studio-inspired docking control, users can optimally configure their own pylon Viewer layout and benefit from the new float, dock and auto-hide options of all pylon Viewer widget-based features (e.g. Sharpness Indicator, Histogram). By that, you perfectly make use of the available working space, focus on the essentials and save time.
