The Manufacturing Solution Expo (MSE) 2017 is an annual one-stop exhibition platform for products and solutions providers to showcase innovative solutions, cost-effective technologies and products from over 120 international and regional brands. This event took place at the Singapore Expo from 25th to 27th October 2017.
In this exhibtiion, Soda Vision show case embedded vision platform, VPS-3100. The VPS-3100 is an All-in-One, Smart Embedded Vision Platform with a 4-core, Intel® N3160 processor. Two independent network ports with up to 2.0 Gb/s speed easily provide great computing power and connectivity. The VPS-3100 also supports PoE (Power over Ethernet). With a compact, fanless design featuring IP40 protection, the VPS-3100 is an ideal solution, at home in the factory environment.
In this demonstration, we are showing a multi cameras image-based 2D code reader powered by Advantech’s VPS-3100 vision platform. The system has two independent Gigabit Ethernet ports and dedicated FPGA co-processor for image reconstruction.
External LED lighting can be powered directly from the built in PWM controller making it perfect vision controller for machine vision application.
