Description
World-class detectivity and dark noise performance for cameras operating in this band are achieved at room temperature. Broadband sensitivity and low noise are achieved via specialized process engineering of the company’s Acuros™ CQD™ quantum dot materials. The Acuros™ CQD™eSWIR cameras with single-stage thermo-electric coolers (TECs) exhibit sensitivity superior to most traditional epitaxial infrared sensors in the 1600 – 2000nm band.
This new eSWIR capability will open up new imaging applications including machine vision, scientific research, medical imaging, long-range imaging through summer haze, maritime haze, and fine dust, wafer defect inspection, high-speed thermal imaging, hydrocarbon, and gas detection, plastic sorting, laser beam profiling and more. All AcurosTM cameras are GenICam compliant and come with USB3 or GigE Vision interfaces. The cameras are designated EAR-99 requiring no license for lawful export.
